How the Global calculator works, what its estimates mean, and what is available today.

Does this calculator include my country’s tax rules?
No. The Global calculator uses your after-tax income and your own return and withdrawal assumptions. It does not calculate tax, pension entitlements or country-specific benefits. Norway has a separate calculator with Norwegian rules.
What does the retirement estimate mean?
It estimates the earliest year you could stop working and fund your expenses through the selected horizon age under your assumptions. It is not financial advice or a promise.
What is the FIRE number?
It is your annual expenses divided by the withdrawal rate you choose. It is a separate target. Whether your money lasts depends on the chosen assumptions and the simulated horizon.
Are my financial inputs uploaded?
No. The free calculator runs on your device. Joining the waitlist sends the email address you enter, not your calculator inputs.
Can I use Premium now?
The English Premium planner is planned and is not available yet. You can join the waitlist for an update.
